Precautions for disassembly and cleaning of throttle valve: Take Magotan as an example;

Disassembly procedure of throttle valve:

0 1 Remove the air cleaner assembly.

02 Remove the throttle cable (mechanical cable throttle). First, screw the throttle control mechanism to the maximum position, pull it with the left hand, hold the throttle cable with the right hand, and take it out from the gap of the control mechanism. Then remove the cable from the accelerator cable bracket, remove the limit clamp and gasket and put them in a safe place. Finally, remove the throttle cable bracket fixed on the throttle body.

Loosen the three fastening bolts on the throttle body with a suitable wrench and remove the throttle body.

Remove the sealing skirt at the joint of throttle body and air cleaner to prevent the skirt from expanding and cracking due to the corrosion of cleaning agent. After removing the sealing apron, check for signs of aging and cracking.

Clean the throttle body.

When cleaning, focus on cleaning the throttle body cavity, throttle and throttle shaft until there is no dirt. After cleaning, repeatedly pull the throttle control mechanism to check whether the throttle switch is free. In addition, the joint surface between the air inlet and the throttle body should be cleaned, and the sealing rubber ring should be removed before cleaning to prevent corrosion.

When cleaning the throttle valve, the cover of the integrated circuit must face upwards to avoid damaging its components.

Installation steps of throttle valve:

0 1 After cleaning and inspection, install the throttle body.

Install plug connection of throttle position sensor.

03 Install the throttle cable bracket on the throttle body and tighten it (mechanical cable throttle).

Install throttle cable. The installation process is the reverse of the disassembly process. After installation, check and adjust the tightness of the throttle cable (mechanical cable throttle).

Install the air cleaner assembly.

06 After the whole installation process, check the engine system with the tester; Adaptive matching throttle.
