Another name for winter

The nicknames for winter are as follows:

1, Three winters: The ancients took October of the lunar calendar as Meng Dong, November as Midwinter, and December as Ji Dong, which collectively referred to March as "Three winters", generally referring to winter. Three winters means that winter is extremely cold, very cold.

2. Jiudong: Jiudong is an elegant name for winter. Because there are 90 days in winter, it is called nine winters.
