Planting time and method of potted ginger Introduction of planting method of potted ginger

1, pot planting and soil preparation

Bigger and deeper flowerpots, preferably bonsai ones. Fill the soil (preferably sandy loam, loam and clay loam), and the soil should be fertile and loose.

2. Preparation of ginger seeds

Ginger species: choose your favorite disease-free ginger, disconnect the connected ginger species and make a single ginger species. The wound should be disinfected with plant ash or lime.

3. Planting time

You can sow before and after the Tomb-Sweeping Day or Grain Rain Festival. You can look at the calendar for the 24 solar terms and sow at the right time. Potted ginger on balcony is best in April-May.

Step 4 plant

Pay attention to loosening the soil, keep it loose, and plant it deeper, not too shallow, about the depth of the palm of your hand. Then fill in the soil and water it. Keep the soil moist for two or three days after planting, but don't let the water pour too much, just keep it moist.

5, fertilization

About a week, if there is fertilizer, mix it with water and pour it evenly (fertilizer is usually urea and compound fertilizer), but not too much. After all, few flowerpots can be planted, and the amount of fertilizer without ginger is similar to that with small hands. You can also use farmyard manure if you don't mind.
