Zodiac cartoon with heavy snow and solar terms
The four seasons have their own names, namely, spring, summer, autumn and winter. There is no doubt that beginning of spring, Changxia, beginning of autumn and beginning of winter in the solar terms are the beginning of the four seasons respectively. Every season can be divided into three stages: Meng, Zhong and Ji. Taking spring as an example, it can be divided into Meng Chun, Midspring and Ji Chun. It is said that Liu Ji is the real name of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, and this season is the season of Ji Chun, which means the third son. Liu Ji is Liu Laosan and Liu Bang is the third son in the family.
Similarly, December has its own name, and the name of this December is the Twelve Earthly Branches. Namely: Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai.
March in spring is Yin, Mao and Chen, March in Xia San is Si, Wu and Wei, March in autumn is Shen, You and Xu, and March in winter is Hai, Zi and Ugly.
The corresponding solar terms are as follows:
After reading it, some people may have questions. A year is in spring, and spring is the beginning of a year, starting from silver moon. Why do twelve branches start with children? As can be seen from the above table, the second month is the winter solstice with heavy snow. If we combine, we have a name called "Winter Solstice-One Yang Sheng". That is to say, from the second month, the spirit of the sun began to be nurtured, and by the time beginning of spring arrived, it was already a stage. If we take people as an example, yin is equivalent to life and son is equivalent to ugliness, which is the embryonic stage.
Winter breeds spring, so the proverb "Snow indicates a bumper year" contains this truth.
Of course, there is a saying that there is a calendar. In ancient China, the Xia, Shang and Wednesday dynasties all had their own calendars, with (Yin) as the head of the Xia calendar, (Ugly) as the head of the Yin (Shang) calendar and the winter solstice (Zi) as the head of the week calendar. Calendars after the Han Dynasty all started with the summer calendar and took Yin as the first month. However, the whole China culture handed down today is still dominated by Zhou Wenhua, and many places still attach great importance to the winter solstice, and there is a saying that "winter solstice is a big Chinese New Year". So the twelve branches are headed by Zi.
Some superficial knowledge of calendars, which I will write in my next article.
The above is a comparison table between the 24 solar terms and the 12 zodiac signs, which is about the sharing of the 24 solar terms. I read a theme similar to 24 solar terms 12 Zodiac, I hope this will help everyone!
