As the saying goes, "no spring is a good year for farmers." 202 1 Is it suitable for farming?
I have read some causal articles about "the year without spring, the year of good agriculture" introduced by some media authors, and most of them are actually simple explanations. Without beginning of spring, farmers would have a good harvest in such a year, and whatever they plant would have a good result. But as for why the interpreter himself made such an explanation of "no spring year, good agriculture", there was no following and no basis, which added more doubts to others.
In order to better explain the problem, first of all, let's talk about the origin of "spring-free year" or "widowed year". The so-called "widowed year" is actually an extension of "widowed year" by the people. "Widowed year" originally refers to "widowed year" or "year without spring". The origin of "no spring year" is related to the calendar.
The current lunar calendar in China is a combination of yin and yang, emphasizing the length of the solar calendar and avoiding the short of the lunar calendar. On the one hand, we should determine the month according to the moon's profit and loss cycle, and on the other hand, we should determine the time for the earth to orbit the sun once (that is, the average length of a tropical year) as 30 days for the big month and 29 days for the small month. The 354 days or 355 days in a year calculated in this way are actually less than the period of the moon's profit and loss 10. In order to solve the problem of the number of days difference between them and prevent the disorder of time sequence and time caused by the passage of time, the 7-leap method of 19 is adopted to adjust.
"The 7-leap method of 19" means that 19 lunar year has 12 normal years, and each year has 12 months. In the other seven years, 1 leap month will be added every year, making it 13 months. On average, the lunar calendar after leap is 19, and the length of a year is about 365 days plus 1/4 days. Every lunar year with leap months has 383 or 384 days, which is about 18 days or 19 days more than the 365 days in the solar year. In this way, the lunar calendar with leap months in a year has 25 solar terms, including two "beginning of spring" before and after. But there is no leap month in the lunar calendar, and there are only 354 or 355 days in a year. Once you are between two "beginning of spring", you won't meet the "beginning of spring" in the solar calendar at the beginning of the year and the "beginning of spring" in the solar calendar at the end of the year, resulting in a "dumb year" or "widowed year" with no spring at both ends.
From the perspective of the lunar calendar, the year we are now in is the year of Gengzi, and the next year or that year is the year of sadness and ugliness. The Year of the Ox is a normal year without leap months, starting from February 12 in Gregorian calendar 20265438 and ending on October 3 12 in Gregorian calendar 2022, with a total of 354 days. Moreover, the beginning and end of the Year of the Ox do not conform to the "beginning of spring" solar terms, and it is a real "spring-free year" or "widowed year".
In my opinion, the reason why agricultural proverbs say "good agriculture without spring" is related to solar terms and climate. There will be a year without spring, as we said before, because the first year of the lunar calendar did not meet the "beginning of spring" of the solar calendar. This also shows from the side that the "beginning of spring" solar term at that time has passed, followed by the "rain" solar term.
The "rain" solar term of 202 1 appears on February 18, the seventh day of the first lunar month. In the15th day of the "rain" solar term, we will go from the 6th day of "July 9th" to the 2nd day of "September 9th". After the solar term entered the "rain", Tyrannosaurus Rex sacrificed fish, swans came, and vegetation sprouted, all of which were prominent phenological characteristics.
By then, the temperature in most parts of southern China will rise above 10℃, and the frost period has ended. The timely rainfall in the "rainy" solar term in western South China will make local farmers feel the joy of "spring rain is as expensive as oil". The severe winter in most parts of the north has basically passed, and snowfall will be more transformed into happy rain. With the arrival of the "rain" solar term, the rainfall will increase accordingly. All kinds of overwintering crops will begin the gratifying growth process of turning green under the moisture of suitable temperature and precipitation.
In the "year without spring", there will be a scene of spring ploughing "99 plus 19, plowing cattle everywhere" before the first month. Isn't this the scene of the agricultural proverb "A year without spring is a year of good agriculture"? As farmers, let's look forward to a good year of 202 1!
