Guangzhou held a world-class flower art exhibition?

On the morning of September 9th, 2008 10:00, the world-renowned Guangzhou International Flower Art Exhibition and the annual meeting of the World Flower Association officially opened in Guangzhou Grand Theatre. More than 200 floral masters and lovers from more than 30 countries and regions around the world witnessed the first marriage between Guangzhou, the "Flower City", and the international authoritative flower event. The Guangzhou International Flower Art Exhibition was held at the same time as the annual meeting of the World Flower Association of "Floriculture Olympics", which broke the previous practice of only western-style flower arrangement.

The Lingnan Pavilion built by Guangzhou International Flower Art Exhibition, with the theme of flowers, shows the essence of China's traditional culture, allows guests to deeply understand the charm of Lingnan bonsai and Chinese flower arrangement, and reproduces the beauty of "pines and cypresses are all over the window, or one or two orchids are built, surrounded by lush vegetation".

In order to let the general public and tourists visit and share the grand event for free, the organizers chose Guangzhou Grand Theatre, the landmark building of Guangzhou's central axis, as the main venue, and Guangzhou Second Children's Palace and Yuexiu Park as the sub-venues. During the same period, many exhibitions of floral works were held, among which the level and quantity of floral installations exhibited were the highest in history, and the scale and form were higher than those of previous annual meetings of the World Flower Association. The most memorable thing is that from today on, Guangzhou Grand Theatre will display more than 200 groups of works of international floral masters and perform six floral performances, all of which will be open to the public free of charge.
