What kind of climate does most of South Asia belong to?

Most of South Asia has a tropical monsoon climate. The period when the northeast monsoon blows from 10 to May of the following year is a dry season, and the southwest monsoon blows from June to September every year. Rainfall varies greatly in different parts of South Asia. Generally speaking, the windward slope is rich in precipitation.
