The principle of carburetor is similar, and cars and motorcycles are the same. Vacuum film carburetor and plunger carburetor are only slightly different in controlling throttle, and the actual working process is similar.

Suzuki QS 1 10 plunger carburetor, whose throttle pipe directly controls the throttle and oil needle. When the throttle is increased, the intake air of the carburetor increases when the oil needle is lifted, and the oil needle is conical. After lifting, the main metering hole (oil injection hole) becomes larger, and the oil injection quantity also increases accordingly. The fuel injection principle of carburetor is similar to that of flower sprayer, and air passes through throttle valve (fuel injection hole). When the throttle valve is increased, the intake of air and gasoline increases synchronously.

When the throttle valve is suddenly lifted, the instantaneous air intake is very large. However, because the fuel injection is too heavy (heavier than air), the gasoline can't take root in time, which will cause the mixture to be too thin and make the engine stall. Some carburetors are designed with an acceleration pump, and when the throttle is rapidly twisted, a jet of gasoline will be ejected from a special channel, which can avoid this rapid acceleration stall and improve the acceleration.

There is no harm in slowing down suddenly (suddenly closing the throttle). Generally, turn off the throttle directly when driving. Of course, if you want to maintain a certain speed, you must control the throttle according to the situation. However, sudden deceleration during driving is not a good driving mode, which is not only a waste of gasoline, but also bad for the engine, but not bad for the carburetor itself. In addition, it is not good for the car to hit neutral with a large throttle. At this time, the throttle and throttle may cause the valve to lose control and the piston top valve to fail.
