What's with the oil in the intake manifold?

There is oil in the intake manifold, which is generally caused by the condensation of oil vapor when it is cold. If the quantity is small, it is normal, so don't worry.

Too much is not normal. There may be a problem with the oil-gas separator. Solution: Clean the oil-gas separator or directly replace the valve cover.

The exhaust gas recirculation valve of the hood may also be blocked. In this case, the valve cover needs to be replaced.

Moreover, if there is too much oil, it will inevitably increase the content of lubricating oil in the crankcase ventilation system, thus promoting the lubricating oil to enter the intake pipe from the crankcase ventilation system.

Some engines are equipped with PCV to release the pressure in the crankcase, and sometimes the oil will be brought into the intake pipe, because the gas released by PCV will be reused and directly enter the intake pipe with new gas.

Because you can't see the real car, you can't make an accurate judgment. It is recommended to go to a 4S shop or a professional auto repair shop in time, so that the staff can check if there is any problem.

Only when the problem is identified can it be remedied.
