The climate in the west is Mediterranean, and it is mild and rainy in winter under the influence of westerlies. In summer, due to the influence of subtropical high, downward flow prevails, and water vapor is not easy to rise, turning into clouds and causing rainfall, which is hot and dry. The eastern part is a tropical desert, and the climate is alternately controlled by subtropical high pressure area and offshore trade wind area, with little water vapor, high temperature and little rain all year round.
