What is the climate zone in Africa, and what are its climatic characteristics?
Tropical rain forest climate, also known as equatorial rainy climate, is mainly distributed on both sides of the equator (near the equator) 10 latitude. It is hot and rainy all year round, with an average monthly temperature of 25-28℃ and an annual precipitation of over 2000 mm, with even seasonal distribution and no dry season.
Tropical desert climate has many characteristics, such as sunny days, strong sunshine, dryness, hot summer, large temperature difference between day and night, and many sandstorms.
Tropical grassland climate: high temperature all year round, long summer without winter, and distinct dry and wet seasons are its outstanding characteristics.
Mediterranean climate: hot and dry in summer and mild and rainy in winter, which is the only climate type with different rainy and hot periods among the thirteen climate types. Winter is controlled by westerlies, with frequent frontal cyclones and mild climate.
