What sensors do cars have and what are they used for?

Crankshaft position sensor: mainly detects the top dead center signal and also detects the engine speed.

Camshaft position sensor: provides crankshaft angle reference position signal as the main control signal for fuel injection timing control and ignition timing control.

Throttle position sensor: When it is necessary to detect the throttle opening, it is often necessary to use the information provided by the throttle position sensor for detection.

Oxygen sensor: When it is necessary to detect the oxygen content in engine exhaust, it must be detected by oxygen sensor. After detecting the signal, it can be determined whether gasoline and air are in a state of full combustion.

Air flow sensor: mainly calculates the amount of air inhaled by the engine and then directly converts it into an electrical signal, which will be transmitted to ecu, which controls the fuel injection amount and ignition time according to the intake air.

Abs sensor: When the vehicle needs to detect the braking effect, it needs to use ABS sensor, which belongs to the sensor in the braking system. When braking, the wheel speed information is directly transmitted to the braking system through the sensor, which can make the vehicle achieve the best braking effect.
