Orange farmers who have finished fruit harvesting can combine winter pruning with northern Hunan pruning in the next year to remove dead leaves and fallen fruits in damaged orange orchards, and then disinfect the whole orchard with sulfur mixture, Bordeaux mixture or mineral oil+broad-spectrum bactericide to kill overwintering pests. At present, the application of base fertilizer in autumn has not been completed, so it is suggested to postpone the application of base fertilizer until the low temperature rises at the end of February next year. If furrow has been opened for fertilization, cover the soil and protect the roots as soon as possible, so as not to affect the cold resistance of citrus.
