According to students' needs, teachers' current situation, school resources and geographical conditions of hometown, the school made the following demonstration on the feasibility of developing the school-based curriculum of Small Farmers on the basis of careful investigation and objective analysis:
(A), three-level curriculum construction system. School-based curriculum is an integral part of the new curriculum system of basic education which is adapted to the three-level curriculum management system in China, and it is also an indispensable part of the new curriculum plan of primary and secondary schools. Our school's "Little Farmer" was produced in local schools, which not only embodies the school's purpose, students' special needs and the school's resource advantages, but also closely combines with national and local courses. (2) Local regional characteristics: Xiangcheng is located in the southeast of Henan Province, Zhoukou is a county-level city, located in the south of the alluvial plain of the Yellow River and the middle reaches of Liushaying River, the main tributary of Huaihe River. Located in the mid-latitude zone, it belongs to the transition zone between subtropical monsoon climate and warm temperate monsoon climate, with long north and south, four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall, large temperature difference in winter, more precipitation in summer and autumn and less in winter.
