What does the poem "Bamboo shadows cover the secluded window, and birds crow every two days" mean?
Original text:
Early Summer and Song Dynasty: Zhu
Bamboo shadows cover the secluded windows, and birds sing at sunset every two days.
Xie Que begonia flies out of the floc, and the weather is getting longer and longer.
This poem depicts the scene in late spring and early summer, and expresses people's melancholy mood through the scene. The first two sentences are quiet and moving, and the words "clear shadow", "quiet window", "bamboo shaking" and "bird singing" in the sentence are really vivid. The last two sentences further deepened the irritability in the previous sentence. In early summer, begonia flowers wither, catkins fly out, and the days are getting longer and longer, which really makes people feel sleepy. The whole poem is attached to the scenery, with a few strokes, but it is very infectious.
