Laiyang Tomb-Sweeping Day Regulations
; If the employing unit arranges the laborer to work overtime on April 4th, it shall pay overtime pay not less than 300% of the laborer's daily or hourly wage. The employing unit shall not refuse to pay overtime wages in the name of taking a leave or taking a vacation. If workers are arranged to work overtime on weekends, it belongs to working overtime on rest days, and equal time should be arranged for compensatory rest. If compensatory time off cannot be arranged, overtime pay not less than 200% of the daily or hourly wages of the workers shall be paid.
It should be noted that State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China has made it clear that overtime pay does not belong to the subsidies and allowances issued by the state, and should be incorporated into wage income and taxed according to law.
