How long does Sanqiu mean?

Sanqiu means nine months.

The ancients called Sanqiu a quarter of autumn, and Sanqiu three quarters. Now it is about nine months, which means a long time. People often say that we don't see each other for a day, such as Sanqiu, which means that we don't see each other for a day, as if it's been a long time, and it's a metaphor to live like a year.

Four seasons refer to four seasons that appear alternately in a year, namely spring, summer, autumn and winter, and each season lasts for three months. All the year round is formed because the earth revolves around the sun.

Because of the existence of the ecliptic angle, the direct point of the sun moves back and forth between the north and south latitudes of the earth, which changes every year, resulting in the seasonal changes of the height of the sun at noon, the length of day and night, and the seasonal changes of the solar energy obtained in various places, thus forming the replacement of the four seasons.

Autumn refers to the period from beginning of autumn to beginning of winter, that is, July, August and September of the lunar calendar, including the six solar terms of beginning of autumn, first summer, white dew, autumnal equinox, cold dew and first frost.

The climate in autumn is mainly dry, and people often describe it as "crisp in autumn" and "windy and dry". Autumn is a season of golden breeze and pleasant climate. This is because people have just spent the hot summer, and whenever the cool breeze blows, they feel clear-headed and refreshed.
