What should I do if the engine is flooded?

If the engine is flooded, the following measures should be taken:

1. If the water inflow into the engine is not serious, and only part of the water enters the air filter, then it is only necessary to clean the water vapor on the air filter, cylinder and throttle.

2. If there is more water in the engine, it will not affect the normal running of the vehicle, but the engine is loud. It may be that gasoline and engine oil are mixed with a small amount of water, so the car mainly changes the engine oil as soon as possible and cleans the engine-related accessories.

3. If the engine is flooded with water, the vehicle cannot start or run, and the cylinder, piston and connecting rod of the engine may have been deformed. If these situations occur, the engine has almost been scrapped beyond repair, and the owner needs to replace the new engine or directly scrap the vehicle.
