The French 1.8t engine weighs only 1 10 kg.

PSA's 400THP engine is actually the "enlarged cylinder" version of PSA 1.6THP engine, and everyone is familiar with this 1.6T engine. Developed jointly by PSA and BMW, it won the "International Engine of the Year Award" in the category of 1.4L- 1.8L for eight consecutive years.

This 1.8T engine adopts the electronic throttle of mainland China and the twin scroll turbine of Borgwarner. Technically, it adopts high-pressure in-cylinder direct injection, aluminum alloy cylinder head/cylinder block, CVVT continuously variable intake timing system and other technologies. So far, there is no particularly advanced technology.

However, when this engine first came out, its technological advancement could rank among the top in the world. This does not mean that this car has no technical highlights. This engine adopts lightweight design, and its weight is only 1 10 kg, which is lighter than many self-priming engines with the same displacement, and its design life is 240,000 km/15 years.

Peugeot 508 engine:

Peugeot 508 is equipped with turbocharged engines of 1.6T and 1.8T respectively, and the transmission is matched with 6AT gearbox and 8AT gearbox respectively.

The maximum power is 170 horsepower and 21/kloc-0 horsepower, and the peak torque is 250 nm and 300 nm, respectively. It also has stable four-wheel suspension and accurate steering feel, so Peugeot 508 has excellent power performance.
