The origin of Millennium solar terms

Millennium is one of the 24 solar terms, which means that the temperature changes and the weather turns cold. The reason why it is called the White Dew is because the dew shines under the refraction of sunlight and is very beautiful, so it is called the White Dew. Another way of saying it is that there are five elements that coincide with each other. In autumn, the five elements belong to gold, corresponding to the white in the five colors, hence the name White Deer.

Twenty-four solar terms began in the Spring and Autumn Period and were established in Qin and Han Dynasties. They have left a deep impression on farming society, which is related to calendar, astronomy, meteorology, phenology and festivals, and extended to life, and related to Lunar New Year holiday, farming time series, folk activities, folk taboos, food and health care and so on.

Nowadays, people are still very close to the 24 solar terms in their seasonal sexual life, so that a large number of poetic forms appear, enriching the cultural connotation of the 24 solar terms.
