How often is the throttle valve cleaned?

Generally, the throttle in the enjoyment area should be cleaned once after driving for about 20-30 thousand kilometers. If it is not very dirty, you can clean the throttle directly with cleaning agent without disassembling the throttle. But if the throttle valve is removed for cleaning, it can be cleaned more cleanly. The specific cleaning steps are as follows:

1. First find the position of the throttle, which is located behind the air inlet and connected to the air filter;

2. Remove the hose connecting the throttle valve and the air cleaner first, and then remove the air cleaner assembly;

3. Then remove the throttle cable, unscrew the fixing bolt and remove the throttle;

4. Use carburetor cleaner or special cleaner, spray some on the throttle, wait for the carbon deposit to be dissolved by organic solvent, and wipe the stain clean after 1-2 minutes.

Not only that, there is also a cleaning method without removing the throttle. When the engine is running, spray the cleaning agent into the throttle. The practice of most 4S shops and after-sales service centers is to spray cleaning agent on the accelerator while stepping on it. At this time, the vehicle will emit white smoke because the cleaned stains are strongly ignited by the suction cylinder and then discharged. Compared with the damage of this cleaning method to the car, the disassembly cleaning method is more beneficial to the car.
