When the time part needs high precision, TTimeStamp is used to represent the date and time values. When the time value does not need to be accurate to milliseconds, a more compact TDateTime representation is used. If extra precision is needed, use TSQLTimeStamp (but don't assign it to variables).
The time field represents the number of milliseconds that have passed since midnight.
The data field indicates the number of calendar days since the start of the calendar (days since 11/0001plus1).
