What do you mean, March doesn't enter and February doesn't shrink?
This is a famous farming proverb, and it is also the crystallization of our ancestors' wisdom, which has a certain warning effect on the cultivation of rural crops. When we arrive in Tomb-Sweeping Day, many people will think of the poem Qingming written by the great poet Du Mu (Tang Dynasty): "It rains a lot during Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road are dying. Ask local people where to buy wine? The shepherd boy pointed to Xinghua Village. "
But in fact, Tomb-Sweeping Day is not only one of the four traditional festivals in China, but also the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival in China. It is a solemn grave-sweeping festival and a very important solar term among the 24 solar terms in China. Tomb-Sweeping Day is different from other solar terms. It is the fifth of the 24 solar terms, and it is a solar term that benefits the world.
Tomb-Sweeping Day introduction:
Qingming is the fifth of the 24 solar terms in China. The 24 solar terms are divided according to the changes of climate, season and phenology caused by the return of the sun to the ecliptic. Because of the difference between the lunar calendar and the solar calendar every year, there will be a leap month every three years, and the time when Qingming appears is not fixed. Therefore, Tomb-Sweeping Day is divided into February and March of the lunar calendar.
If Qingming comes to February of the lunar calendar ahead of schedule, although the temperature rises, it is actually unstable, or when it is warm and cold at first, it is easy to have a sudden cooling weather, which is what we often call "late spring cold". In Song Dynasty, Shi Puji, a monk, also said in "Five Lights Meeting Yuan": "Spring is chilly and young people freeze to death". The cold at the end of spring is not conducive to agricultural production, which will lead to the rot of seeds sown in the soil or the frostbite of germinated seedlings. This is too harmful, and spring ploughing and spring sowing will be in vain.
