In A Dream of Red Mansions, Baochai and xiren have some similarities. Baochai took a fancy to xiren first, and xiren also thought Baochai knew wisely.

On one occasion, Shi Xiangyun came and rested in Daiyu's room at night. Baoyu went to Xiaoxiang Pavilion early in the morning, took a bath and returned to Hongyi Garden.
