Where is the throttle position sensor?

The throttle position sensor is installed on the throttle body. With the change of throttle opening and the rotation of throttle shaft, the brush in the sensor slides or the guide cam rotates, which converts the angle signal of throttle opening into an electrical signal and sends it to ECU. The following are the adjustment steps of the throttle position sensor: 1. Measure the voltage between the throttle position sensor signal line and the ground line with a multimeter DC voltage block. 2. Put the throttle in the idle position, turn on the ignition switch and observe the reading of the multimeter. 3. If the throttle position sensor cannot provide the specified voltage signal, loosen the fixing screw of the throttle position sensor and turn the sensor housing until the specified voltage signal is displayed on the voltmeter. 4. Fix the throttle position sensor in the adjusted position.
