Control function of diesel engine electronic control system?

The main control functions include fuel injection control, air intake control, idle speed control, exhaust gas recirculation control, exhaust gas turbocharger pressure control, fault self-diagnosis and fault safety control.

1. Fuel injection control

Fuel injection control mainly includes fuel injection quantity control, fuel injection timing control and fuel injection regularity control, as well as fuel injection quantity unevenness control and fuel injection pressure control of each cylinder.

(1) Fuel injection control

The electronic control unit takes the diesel engine speed and load input by the speed sensor and the throttle position sensor/accelerator pedal position sensor as basic control parameters to determine the basic cycle fuel injection quantity, and then corrects it according to other relevant input signals, and finally determines the actual cycle fuel (fuel injection) quantity.

(2) Fuel injection timing control

The electronic control unit takes the diesel engine speed and load input by the speed sensor and the throttle position sensor/accelerator pedal position sensor as basic control parameters, determines the basic fuel supply (injection) timing, and realizes the closed-loop control of the injection timing.

(3) Control of fuel injection law

The control of fuel injection law is also the law of fuel injection rate and fuel injection quantity changing with time.

(4) controlling the fuel injection unevenness of each cylinder.

The electronic control unit takes the allowable deviation of speed fluctuation between cylinders as the control target value to correct the fuel injection quantity of each cylinder.

2. Air intake control

Intake control includes variable intake swirl control, variable valve timing control, intake throttle control and intake preheating control.

3. Idle speed control

Idle speed control mainly includes idle speed stability control and work uniformity control of each cylinder at idle speed.

4. Exhaust gas recirculation control

The purpose of exhaust gas recirculation control is to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas. Exhaust gas recirculation control includes the determination of exhaust gas recirculation working conditions and the control of exhaust gas recirculation quantity.

5. Pressure control of exhaust gas turbocharger

There are two main control methods: waste gas bypass channel control and turbine flow section control.

6. Fault self-diagnosis and fault protection control
