How to read the Volkswagen electronic throttle?

1. Direct data reading: connect the diagnostic instrument to the diagnostic seat, and then start the engine. The normal opening value of throttle position sensor 1 is 3%-93%, throttle position sensor 2 is 3%-97%, throttle position sensor 3 is 12%-97%, and throttle position sensor 4 is 4%-49%. If the measured value is less than the above range, there is something wrong with the throttle. At this time, inspection and maintenance should be carried out to avoid the normal use of the car due to the damage of the throttle.

2. Detect the voltage of the throttle position sensor: When the throttle valve is fully opened, its voltage is about 5v. When the throttle valve is closed, its voltage is about 0.5v

3. Test the power supply voltage: unplug the throttle position sensor and start the engine. The voltage between vcc and throttle is normally between 4.5-5.5v;

4. Detection resistance: The resistance between vcc and idle contact is generally 1.5-2.6 ohms. The resistance between vcc and vih is generally 0.75- 1.3 ohm.
