Is the last volt three volts?
The dog days are the initial, middle and final dog days, and they are the hottest season in a year. The dog days appear in the Gregorian calendar from mid-July to mid-August every year, and its climatic characteristics are high temperature, low pressure, high humidity and low wind speed. V means being forced to hide underground. Three volts can be divided into initial volts, intermediate volts and final volts, and their dates are determined by the coordination of solar terms and solar terms in the dry branch calendar.
According to China's traditional calculation method, the third and fourth Geng days from summer to the future are the first (head) and middle start dates respectively, and the first Geng day after beginning of autumn is the last first day. Because every Geng day is 10 days apart, the stipulated time of the first day and the last day is 10 days. Because the third Geng day (the first autumn) after the summer solstice solar term appears sooner or later, the number of days in autumn is long or short, which may be 10 or 20 days.
The custom of dog days
1, squatting to eat mutton
The custom of eating mutton in Xuzhou can be traced back to the Yao and Shun period. There is a saying among the people that Pengcheng has a bowl of mutton soup without a prescription from an imperial doctor. Xuzhou people love to eat Fuyang, which is nothing more than a local folk song: pick up girls on June 6 and make mutton soup with new wheat cakes.
2. Eat wonton on your head
Shanghai has always had the custom of "wonton with two cups of tea", so in hot and dry summer when there is no appetite, a bowl of cold wonton seasoned with peanut butter, a little soy sauce and vinegar will make you feel cold and comfortable, and it will also greatly increase your appetite. Wonton was called by the ancients as "like a chicken laying eggs, rather like chaos between heaven and earth", and "Wonton" is homophonic with "chaos". Pangu opens the sky, chaos begins, and eating wonton is a wise move.
