What is the liberation ETV valve?
Emergency stop valve.
ETV is a mechatronics product installed on gasoline engine, which is used to control the amount of exhaust gas recirculation fed back to the intake system. It is usually located on the right side of the intake manifold, near the throttle body, and connected to a short metal pipe leading to the exhaust manifold.
Each metering hole consists of 1 solenoid valve and needle valve. When the solenoid valve is energized, the armature is attracted upward by the magnet, thus opening the metering hole. When the EGV valve is closed, the characteristics of the rotary needle valve ensure a good seal.
