Why does the new BYD F3 VVL engine emit black smoke when it is started with natural gas?

The new BYD F3 VVL engine will emit black smoke when it is started with natural gas, because it uses oil and natural gas. Generally, BYD engines are not suitable for changing from oil to gas.

First of all, if it is instructed to smoke when burning gas, it means that both oil and gas are used, and it is unqualified to be modified.

Black smoke indicates that the engine is not working well, the mixture in the fuel supply system is too rich, and the load situation is inconsistent with the actual fuel injection. It often involves machinery, oil supply, air intake, electronic control system and many other aspects. Generally, the mechanical part is not a big problem, mainly because the air flowmeter, throttle position sensor, oxygen sensor or other important sensors are damaged.
