What does ivtec mean?

Ivetec is the abbreviation of Honda intelligent variable valve timing system. Vitec system has been widely installed on new Honda models. When the engine runs from low speed to high speed, the computer will automatically put oil pressure on the small turbine in the driving gear of the intake camshaft, so that the throttle timing can be continuously adjusted.

When the engine is running at medium and low speed, the mixture concentration required by the engine is not high enough to keep the speed stable and reduce the fuel consumption and pollutant emission.
