Argon arc welding knowledge

Argon arc welding technology is a kind of welding technology developed on the basis of ordinary arc welding principle. Argon gas is used to protect metal welding materials, and the welding materials are melted into liquid on the welded substrate by large current to form a molten pool, so that the welded metal and welding materials can achieve metallurgical bonding.

Non-melting argon arc welding refers to the arc burning between the melting electrode (usually tungsten electrode) and the workpiece. An inert gas (argon gas) is commonly used around the welding arc, which does not react with the metal to form a protective sleeve, so that the tungsten electrode, arc, molten pool and molten iron are not exposed to the air, which can prevent the oxidation and absorption of harmful gases.
