Tomb-Sweeping Day originated from a sad story in the Spring and Autumn Period. According to legend, meson tui and his mother's body were found under a charred willow tree, and Jin Wengong buried them under the tree. The following year, when Zhong Er attended the memorial service again, Huo Ran found that the willow tree had sprouted new branches and gained a new life. Zhong Er picked the branches and put them on his head as garlands, and hung the willow branches outside the window, in order to miss meson push.
