When is it appropriate to change the flowerpot into soil?
When changing pots, take off the seedlings in the pots. To keep the soil intact, you can't damage the flowerpot, and you can't dig the roots with a shovel. The soil should be dry before removing the basin.
Combined with changing pots, the plants should be pruned properly, and diseased branches, dead branches, overlapping branches and weak branches should be cut off. Excessively weak plants should be pruned sharply, and sometimes even cut off from the base to promote them to grow strong branches.
When changing pots, if the new pots are newly bought and unused, they should be soaked in clean water for 1-2 days, and can only be used after being fully absorbed. For example, unused flowerpots have weakened air permeability and are easy to leave germs and eggs. Therefore, it should be soaked in clear water, scrubbed inside and outside, then soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes, and then taken out and dried in a ventilated place. This work should be done before the basin is removed.
When changing the pot, the new one is slightly larger than the original one. Check the drain hole at the bottom of the pot. The diameter of the hole at the bottom of the small pot is 1 cm -2 cm, and the big pot must be 3 cm -4 cm. If it is not big enough, it should be expanded. Cover half of the flowerpot and the bottom hole with tiles, and then put another piece of sundries to form a "cover without blocking, blocking without dying" to facilitate ventilation and drainage. For example, plant azaleas, camellia, orchids, dahlias, chrysanthemums and other plants that like good drainage, and pad more broken tiles at the bottom of the basin to enhance drainage and air permeability. Spread a layer of crushed mud and base fertilizer about 2 cm -3 cm on the broken tiles, and then apply a layer of fine powder or culture soil. Put the root of the flower in the center of the flowerpot for righting. Add pot soil around the root, compact the pot soil by hand in the middle, and then continue to add pot soil until it is 2 cm -3 cm away from the pot mouth, which is convenient for watering and fertilization in the future. 10 days or so, and then gradually put it in a sunny place.
