What is the throttle matching method?

First of all, it is important to know that it is not necessary to match the cable throttle, but the electronic throttle.

1. After changing the throttle, disconnect the negative battery for a few minutes, and the vehicle will go to sleep. During this process, the original memory of the on-board computer is restored to the factory settings. Then, reconnect the battery negative power cord and start the ignition test run until it is normal.

2. If you have the 5053 data cable at hand, the method is as follows: VCDS 10.6.3 software, enter the "Engine" module, enter "Match", enter "000" in the channel number, and then click OK (the purpose of this is to clear the memory data of the original ECU about the throttle).

Return to "Basic Settings", enter "060" in the channel number, and click "OK". The data displayed on the right will complete the throttle matching.

Throttle with cable does not need to match:

The throttle has one more part than the electronic control, that is, the idle motor. When the fuel filler door is idling, the cable throttle baffle is completely closed, and the air required for idling is input by the idling motor.

So there is no self-adjustment ability to pull the throttle. If you don't step on it, it will completely shut down, and you can step on it as much as you want. Whether it is cleaned or not, the computer always thinks that you will turn it off if you don't step on the accelerator, so there is no need to match it.
