The operation steps of the replacement process are as follows:

1. Remove the negative battery ground wire; Remove the engine front cover and the parts that hinder operation.

2. Turn the crankshaft so that the piston of 1 cylinder is at the compression top dead center position, and align with the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft sprocket; There are two timing marks on the camshaft sprocket. One is the timing mark of 1 cylinder piston at top dead center. At this time, the intake valve and exhaust valve of 1 cylinder are in the closed position.

3. Timing mark when the piston of the fourth cylinder is at the top dead center. At this time, the intake valve and exhaust valve of the fourth cylinder are in the closed position. Be sure to find out which cylinder piston is in the compression top dead center position.

4. Remove the bolts on the camshaft sprocket, and remove the timing chain and camshaft sprocket.
