These laws include the period of frequent plague and the process of slow decline of plague. Taking our 24 solar terms as the time point, the plague is most likely to start, and the plague subsides with the solar terms as the reference. That is to say, the old saying goes: the plague began with heavy snow, originated from the winter solstice, was born in a slight cold, flourished in the beginning of spring, was weaker than rain, and was weaker than fright. This folk saying about the plague is the whole development process of the plague.

In AD 1 and 196, according to Zhang Zhongjing's book Treatise on Exogenous Fever and Miscellaneous Diseases, exogenous febrile diseases and severe infectious diseases were collectively called "typhoid fever" at that time, and two-thirds of people who got typhoid fever died, showing the seriousness of the epidemic at that time.
