Why is there no monsoon climate in Africa?

Simply put, it is because of the latitude of Africa, because the African continent passes through the middle of the equator, the northernmost part is in the western part of the continent, and the northern part belongs to the northern hemisphere. From the point of view of gravity, there is generally no monsoon in the western part of the mainland at low latitudes. However, the southern tip of Africa is located in and controlled by the westerlies, so there is no monsoon climate on the African continent.
