How to remove the exhaust valve of MG 6 automatic transmission?

MG 6 exhaust pipe check valve is on the engine block. The air filter of MG 6 is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. After opening the hood, you can see a black box on the passenger side. Open this box and you can see the air filter.

It is used in oil-water separator. One-way valve, called PCV valve, is used for forced ventilation of crankcase.

The gas extracted from the crankcase is introduced into the intake pipe of the engine and sucked into the cylinder for re-combustion. This ventilation mode is called forced ventilation, and gasoline engines generally adopt this crankcase forced ventilation mode. In this way, the mixture escaping into the crankcase can be recycled, which is beneficial to improve the economy of the engine.

The first one is connected with the subsequent air branch pipe, and this end has a PVC valve (also called crankcase forced ventilation valve), which is a one-way valve. The exhaust gas generated by the crankcase is pumped into the intake branch pipe and burned by the vacuum negative pressure generated after the other end is connected with the intake branch pipe.

The second one is for air intake, and the other end is connected to the bellows connected to the throttle valve of the air grille, which is directly connected to the atmosphere.

PCV device is mainly composed of ventilation hose and PCV valve. Usually, one ventilation hose connects the air cleaner to the valve cover, and the other connects the PCV valve to the intake manifold. The PCV valve consists of a plunger valve and a spring, which is located on one side of the intake manifold. The vacuum degree of the intake manifold determines the opening and closing degree of the PCV valve, and the opening and closing degree of the PCV valve determines the amount of blowby gas re-sucked into the intake manifold for combustion.

In other words, when the engine is at a constant speed or a low speed, the gas flow is small, the blowby is less, and the opening of the PCV valve is small or even closed, so little or no blowby is forced to burn. When the engine accelerates or the speed is relatively high, the gas flow is large, the blowby is also large, and the opening of the PCV valve is large, so more blowby is forced to be inhaled and burned.
