Electronic accelerator pedal is applied to electronic accelerator control system. Its principle is to convert the throttle demand signal into a voltage signal through the pedal position sensor and send it to ECU. ECU synthesizes the current vehicle speed, vehicle distance, throttle opening, engine speed and other information to calculate the optimal throttle opening. ECU controls the output torque of DC motor and constantly adjusts the opening of electronic throttle. The throttle position sensor feeds back the throttle position signal to ECU to form closed-loop control, and finally stabilizes the electronic throttle at the optimal opening. The accelerator pedal sensor is installed in the accelerator pedal to monitor the position of the pedal. When the accelerator pedal sensor detects the change of the height and position of the accelerator pedal, it will send the information to the ECU, and the ECU will calculate and process the information and data information from other systems to calculate a control signal, which will be sent to the servo motor relay through the line, and the servo motor will drive the accelerator actuator. If the accelerator pedal sensor fails, the fault light will light up, and the ECU cannot sense the size of the accelerator, resulting in unstable idle speed, stuck accelerator, unresponsive refueling or loss of power. At this time, it is necessary to carry out maintenance in time, remove the throttle assembly, find the signal output line corresponding to the sensor, measure the circuit with a multimeter, pull the pedal, observe the numerical change of the instrument, and judge whether there is a fault. Check the sensor harness for open circuit or connector falling off. If damaged, replace it directly.
