In fact, the flowering of Clivia takes a certain year, which does not meet the basic requirements. No matter how vigorous it grows, it can't bloom. Clivia usually needs to grow more than 12 leaves to bloom. Clivia wants to grow strong leaves as soon as possible, the most important thing is to change pots frequently.

Clivia is a fleshy root, and everyone who has seen it knows that it is very strong and vigorous. When you see the elegant plant form of Clivia, you can't imagine that its roots are directly huddled together. In fact, this also indirectly shows that maintenance is very suitable. 1, the basin soil should be fertile enough.

We usually plant potted Clivia at home and habitually use the soil in the park, but these soils are not only young eggs with pests, but also lack nutrition and are easy to harden, which is not conducive to the normal growth of Clivia and delays the time for Clivia to grow new leaves.

Therefore, we can collect more pine needles and dead leaves in autumn, expose them to the sun for 2 or 3 days, then smash them as much as possible, and mix them evenly with ordinary garden soil, which can not only supplement nutrients, but also increase pores in the soil and help roots breathe freely.

In addition, every time you change the flowerpot, you should put some pine needles and gravel on the bottom of the flowerpot, which will block the waterproof holes, cause water accumulation in the soil, and cause Clivia to rot.

2. Choose the right time to change the pot.

Give Clivia a pot, and you can't change it if you want. First of all, plants should be active in the right season, preferably in spring and autumn. At the same time, the air circulation should be smooth, and the temperature should not be higher than 28 degrees. In addition, avoid flowering.
