The water temperature sensor has been replaced. Why doesn't the water thermometer work?

I wonder if your model has both a water temperature sensor and a water temperature sensor plug. If so, the water temperature meter is controlled by the water temperature sensor plug. If not, it may be that the meter is broken or the line is open. Also, before you replaced the water temperature sensor, was there any situation where you couldn't even get off the hot car at idle speed? If not, there are two situations. One is that the meter is broken, and the other is that the line is open.
