20 18 1207 one-day tour of famen temple

A sense of life ceremony, Famen Temple is a treasure house of Buddhists in China. After planning for a long time, I finally chose an auspicious day of the ecliptic to see the spectacle, 20 18 12.07, the first day of November in the lunar calendar, a snowy solar term, a special day and a special commemoration.

The temperature plummeted and heavy snow fell.

Famen Temple prays for peace.

Famen Temple is located in Famen Town, north of Fufeng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province 10 km, east of xi City 1 10 km, and west of Baoji City, 90 km. It was built in Hengling period at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of about 1800 years ago, and is known as the "ancestor of Guanzhong Pagoda Temple". The gates of Buddhist temples are named "Shanmen" because most Buddhist temples live in mountains and forests. Generally speaking, there are three doors, big in the middle and small on both sides, which symbolize "three doors escape", that is, "empty door", "no door facing" and "no door worker" Therefore, the "mountain gate" is also called "Sanmen", and the mountain gate is also another name for the temple. The temple is a place where people practice precepts and seek nirvana, so they enter through three doors. All three doors are open. Go in through the letter door. All saints and sages are equal, and only after the heart can evidence be obtained like a duck's back. Qian Dian was founded in the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939). In order to imitate the architecture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, three saints of Hua Yan, General Wei Tuo and eighteen arhats were created in it.

Famen Temple Cultural Scenic Area, covering an area of 1.300 mu, consists of Shanmen Square, Foguang Avenue, Famen Temple, folding stupa and many sculptures.

In China, many temples contain treasures and cultural relics, but the quantity and quality of treasures in Famen Temple are rare. Famen Temple is located in Famen Town, Fufeng County, about120km (about 74.57 miles) west of Xi 'an, and is famous for preserving the real phalanges of Sakyamuni Buddha.

Famen Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) to promote Buddhism. The most representative buildings in the temple are Famen Temple Tower and Famen Temple Museum.

At the center of the temple is an octagonal pagoda with a floor of 13. It is said that a finger bone of Sakyamuni is buried under it. 198 1 year, the pagoda sank and was rebuilt. During the reconstruction, 1987 accidentally discovered an underground palace. Many royal treasures and jewels are found here-more than 2,000 pieces surround the Tang mandala (geometric patterns, usually circles, symbolizing the universe). The most precious thing is the veritable phalanx of Sakyamuni Buddha. At present, this is the largest underground Buddhist palace ever discovered. Judging from its magnificent architectural style, it is said that it was built in the Tang Dynasty (6 18-907). But why are these precious treasures kept under the tower? Tracing back to the most prosperous period in the history of China, Famen Temple used to be the royal temple of Sui Dynasty (58 1-6 18) and Tang Dynasty. The Sui and Tang emperors believed that offering the bones of Sakyamuni would bring wealth and peace to the land and people. So the treasure of the finger bone was enshrined and stored in the underground palace.

Due to the proper collection of treasures and the further explanation of the cultural connotation of treasures to the public, Famen Temple Museum was established on 1987, which includes most precious treasures of the Tang Dynasty, including gold and silver vessels, glazed vessels, porcelain and silk. Due to more and more tourists and their curiosity about cultural relics, two new exhibition halls were established in 2000. The exhibition area has been expanded from 500 square meters to 3000 square meters, which caters to the interests of tourists.

Today, Famen Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple, plays a supreme role in Buddhism in China, attracting tourists from all over the world.

1. 1230 Buddha's Light Avenue in front of the folded stupa (according to the tour guide) ~ a 1230-meter-long Buddha's Light Avenue between the wishing pool and the stupa, with five Buddha Guanyin statues on both sides of the road, 1230 symbolizes the Taoist thought that everything will be born for life (I don't understand what the tour guide said)

2. There are large pine forests on both sides of Foguang Road, with a distance of108m and a life span of108m. Along the way, I experienced one after another and grew up gradually.

3. In the Buddhist temple, with a calm heart, listening to the crisp sound of the spire wind chimes is so pure.

The biggest wish of the first grade is that everyone can live a safe, healthy and happy life, and sick friends and elderly parents are safe and healthy.

1. I consulted my friends in advance to check the raiders and made a time planning list. The schedule of the day was basically smooth. This is a commendable place, hee hee.

2. What needs to be improved is the preparation of knowing the contents of tourist attractions in advance, so as to better appreciate the culture of tourist attractions.

3. Give yourself regular time alone, empty yourself, be with yourself, and listen to your inner voice and heartbeat.

Every reflection is a baptism of self, looking forward to the next better encounter.

Take Wan Li Road, read thousands of books and write about life.
