How to fold by hand

Material required: cardboard.

1. First, fold the paper in half.

2. Fold the bottom up 1 cm.

4. Press the inner corner out of the crease.

6. Pinch the square into a sharp corner.

7. Fold the four sides in turn.

The origami crane method is as follows:

1, find a square paper. ? It would be great if square handmade paper was used. If ordinary printing paper is used, as long as the top corner is folded horizontally and the side edge is aligned with the bottom edge of the paper, the long edge of the rectangle will become longer. Cut this paper along the bottom edge and it will become a square.

2. Fold this paper into a rectangle. Fold the top half of the paper so that the upper edge and the lower edge of the paper are opposite, and then press out the crease. Then unfold the paper.

3. Fold in half in the other direction. Fold from right to left. Fold the crease first, and then unfold it. You will have a cross crease.

4. Fold the paper diagonally. Fold the upper right corner down to the lower left corner. Fold the crease and unfold it. Then fold the upper left corner down to the lower right corner. Fold the crease and unfold it. Finally, you should have a star crease.

5. Pull the lower right part of the upper half to the center line. Fold it. The lower left part also operates in the same way. Your origami looks like a kite from above.

6. Fold the right corner of the upper half to the middle crease. When this is done, the lower right side will be flush with the crease. Do the same on the left.

7. Fold the top corner so that the crease is aligned with the horizontal line folded in the previous step.

8. Unfold the crease in the last three steps. When finished, you have another square with a face-down opening in the middle.

9. Fold the bottom corner of the square up to the top corner along the horizontal crease folded in the previous step. Fold the two creases in the upper half in the opposite direction to their natural folding, so that the creases are reversed. Pull the outer edge of the paper to the middle and flatten it.
