Zhuang festival

Spring Festival; the Spring Festival; Chinese New Year

The Spring Festival is the heaviest festival. After the sumptuous dinner on New Year's Eve, people will keep watch around the fireplace. As soon as midnight arrives, people immediately burn incense and light candles, and offer sacrifices such as pork, whole chicken, zongzi, glutinous rice balls and rice wine on the altar. The children set off firecrackers. In many places, Zhuang women immediately take buckets or bamboo tubes to play "new water" in springs and rivers for good luck. The men ran to the temple fair with lanterns to burn incense and paper. Some places opened the door, and the family gathered in the yard to pay homage to the East, wishing: "Oriental Italy is profitable every year, and this year is even better than last year!"

On the first day of junior high school, strongmen in most places don't visit. People eat glutinous rice balls during the day and meat dishes for dinner, thinking that this can eliminate disasters and get sick. There are many taboos in senior one. It is forbidden to say unlucky things on this day. It is forbidden to use scissors, for fear of Chinese New Year, family members will talk eloquently and swear; Don't sweep the floor for fear of losing money. You are not allowed to take things outside the dry bus, and you are not allowed to lend things to others for fear of the outflow of family wealth. In some places, it is forbidden to beat gongs and drums for fear of disturbing ghosts and gods, but in some places, you can beat a man's tall cowhide drum, and you can hear it clearly for dozens of miles around. In many places, from the first day to the fifth day, a piece of hardwood has to be burned in the stove, which means that children and grandchildren will grow up and fireworks will continue. Killing is not allowed on this day. Pigs, chickens and ducks must be cleaned up a few days before the Chinese New Year for sacrifice and eating.

Zhuang people do not bow down, bow down and shake hands, but fully express holiday greetings through language and rich expressions. When people meet in the village or on the road, they will congratulate each other "Congratulations on getting rich".

From the second day of junior high school, relatives and friends began to visit each other. Especially a married daughter. Bring a few pounds of meat, chickens and ducks and other gifts, and go back to my parents' home for the New Year with my husband and children. The married sisters took this opportunity to get together and say goodbye.

Others are in beautiful rivers and valleys, where young people hold songs or lion dances, play in the hall, listen to Zhuang opera, and so on. Cultural and recreational activities are rich and colorful, and people are immersed in the festive atmosphere.

Horse monster festival

This is an ancient festival spread in Donglan and Fengshan areas along the Hongshui River. Every year, from the first day of the first month, it takes one month to go through three stages: finding beggars, filial piety, accompanying beggars and burying beggars. There are two stories about this festival, one of which is that a long time ago, my son ate Laozi and killed his mother for the New Year. Later, Lin Dong, who was filial to his parents, tried to kill his parents, but he wouldn't let him. He doesn't eat other people's parents' meat either. Then my mother died. He used a coffin to wake up. Outside the house, the grasshopper ignored Lin Dong's sadness, which made people upset. In a rage, Lin Dong watered the grasshopper with boiling water, which caused great disaster. The earth broke frogs, the sun was as red as fire, and the earth cracked because of drought. Later, Buluotuo and Mrojia said that Ma Huai was not a mortal thing. She is the heavenly daughter of Leipo in the sky. As soon as she was called a genius, she had to accompany the crime and invited Ma Huai back to the village for the New Year. This is the origin of Ma Huai Festival. Another story says that Ma Guai, the son of King Lei, was sent to earth as an angel. As soon as he was called King Lei, it rained on the world, so people were very grateful to him and mourned his death, such as paying tribute to Kao Cong. These legends are all related to the fact that Mai Dui is a totem of Zhuang nationality.

March 3 rd festival

March 3rd is Tomb-Sweeping Day, and it is also the Song Festival of Zhuang people. Tomb-Sweeping Day was influenced by the Han nationality. However, some strong people sweep graves in Tomb-Sweeping Day on March 13, 14 and 26, which is very different from Han nationality. Strong people attach great importance to offering sacrifices to sweep graves, so the whole family will go out and bring colorful boards, meat, incense and paper banners to worship the ancestral graves. In Shan Ye, firecrackers came from time to time and lasted for a long time. There are white spirits floating on the hills, forests and bamboo poles at the top of graves, creating a mysterious and solemn atmosphere. According to Zhuang custom, offerings must be eaten in the wild, and some places will be thrown away. Superstition believes that bringing it home will invite ghosts into the door.

In many places, grand song parties are held at the same time for the March 3 rd song party. In recent years, the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has designated this day as a festival for the Zhuang people. The first Song Festival was held in Nanning from 65438 to 0984. More than 700 singers from various counties performed on stage, making Tancheng a sea of singing and dancing in March. Even foreign friends have traveled across the ocean to share the joy of the festival with the Zhuang people. During this period, there are often superstitious activities such as offering sacrifices to gods and playing tricks. But more attractive are fireworks, acting, acrobatics, martial arts performances, dancing colorful dragons, dancing Cai Feng, singing tea-picking poems and other colorful entertainment activities. In recent years, new plays, movies and ball games have been added. However, most of the attention of young men and women is not in this respect, but in how to find the right partner through the concert.
