P0507 fault code: indicates that the engine speed of the idle air control system is higher than expected.

Mainly check whether the throttle is too dirty, and then read the working data flow of the throttle position sensor and the intake pressure sensor. The idle air control valve has a movable needle valve controlled by a precisely moving stepping motor. When the throttle is closed, IAC valve controls the idle speed by changing the air flow of the bypass pipeline to adapt to the idle speed under different working conditions. This fault code will appear if the ECU detects that the engine idle speed is higher than the set value. The fault causes include air leakage behind the throttle body, IAC control circuit fault, IAC solenoid valve fault, throttle control module fault, electronic control module (PCM or ECM) fault, vehicle speed sensor fault, etc.
