How to install the 8DS260 gearbox?

1. Remove the throttle line of the automatic transmission connected with the throttle rocker arm, unplug all cable plugs on the automatic transmission, and remove all parts connected with the automatic transmission, such as the speedometer flexible shaft, hydraulic oil filling pipe, radiator oil pipe, and connecting rod between the operating handle and the rocker arm of the manual valve;

2. Remove the middle section of the exhaust pipe, and remove the shield and guard plate below the automatic transmission;

3. Loosen the connecting bolt between the transmission shaft and the output shaft of the automatic transmission and remove the transmission shaft;

4. Remove the cover plate of the flywheel housing, pry the flywheel with a screwdriver and remove the connecting bolts between the flywheel and the torque converter one by one;

5. Remove the connecting bracket between the starter, the automatic transmission and the frame, hold the automatic transmission with a jack, remove the connecting bolt between the automatic transmission and the flywheel housing, and lift the torque converter and the automatic transmission together. When lifting the automatic transmission, hold the torque converter to prevent it from slipping.
