Solar terms at the intersection of heaven and earth

Qu Yuan. Qu Xia's poems. Xia Meng is the first month of summer, that is, April is Xia Meng, which is represented by Si in the twelve branches. Twenty-four solar terms are special festivals in the dry calendar, indicating the change of natural rhythm and establishing "December construction". Xia Meng includes two solar terms: Long Summer and Xiaoman. "Summer" means "big", which means that the plants sown in spring have grown upright. The Ming Dynasty wrote in "Eight Notes on Respect for Life": "On the day of summer dream, heaven and earth began to merge, and everything was beautiful.
