Recently, the first snow fell in our city this winter. As a southerner, I am still very excited to see snow, because it is not common. Snowflakes are white and beautiful, but when it snows, it means that the weather is getting colder and colder. Although the temperature in the south is not as low as that in the north, it is humid in the south, and it is particularly cold when it is cold. Especially when it snows every year, I don't want to go out at all, just want to stay in the air-conditioned room.

According to my roommate in Northeast China, when they burn kang or turn on air conditioner in winter, it will be winter outdoors and summer indoors, and it seems that there is floor heating at home, which is very warm. I really envy this life. I can wear short sleeves indoors, which is very convenient, but it is rare in the south. At present, there is no floor heating in our community, and we can only rely on air conditioning for heating most of the time in winter.

I remember a long time ago, when there was no air conditioning in our house, we had to burn a stove to keep warm in winter, and many of them may not have been exposed after 00. It's just a round stove with carbon in it, then make a fire, put a pot on it and have some soup. However, this is still a bit risky, because there are often tragedies of carbon monoxide poisoning caused by not opening the window when burning this charcoal in the news. But as far as I know, many families have given up this way of heating. Now, because it is particularly cold every night, we put an electric blanket on the bed and hold a warm handbag in our hands, which has almost become a necessity in winter.

I think air conditioning is still relatively common. Now there will be air conditioning behind every class in school, on buses, at home and so on. Public places are generally equipped with central air conditioning. For example, when I am free at home on weekends, I like to go to the city library to rub the air conditioner, and then I can read books. I think air conditioning in public places has really brought great convenience to the public and brought us a little warmth in the cold winter.
