Li Yexing's Main Contributions

Li Yexing made great contributions to the astronomical calendar all his life. In the Northern Wei Dynasty, the calendar formulated by Zhao Wei was used. Due to the age, the calculation error is large, which leads to great differences in solar terms. In Yan Changzhong, Xuan Wudi (5 12-5 15), Li Yexing made a copy of Wu Zi Yuan Li, which was also presented to the court with calendars made by nine companies, including Zhang Hong, a captain of Tunqi, and Zhang Longxiang, a general in Guanzhong. The imperial edict of Xuan Wudi determined 10 calendar as 1 species, and Zhang Hong and other nine * * * pushed Li Yexing to be responsible. In the third year of Xiaoming (522), it was written as Wu Zi Li. Li Yexing also revised it with the title "Yin Jiayin, Huang Di Xin Mao, only accumulating yuan, lacking skills", and each volume was handed down to me. In the Eastern Wei Dynasty, Emperor Yong of Xiaojing (539) and Li Yexing also wrote Jia Zi Yuan Li, which was "applicable when necessary". He also participated in the negotiation of "Nyingchi New System". Until he was imprisoned, he also made a "Nine Palace Chess Calendar", "500 chapters, 440 parts, 987 points, and he also took himself as the yuan, and has never moved since." Although it is different from the calendar promulgated by the Tang Dynasty later, "as for the intersection of gas sequences, there is no difference between the scenery and the scenery."
